The Performance Tests of A&S Power Batteries before Factory Shipment

Lithium batteries are widely used in our daily lives, from mobile phones and laptops to electric vehicles. To ensure the quality and safety of

lithium batteries, a series of strict performance tests are carried out before they leave the factory. As a responsible manufacturer, A&S Power

subjects all its batteries to comprehensive factory tests, including but not limited to capacity test, charge-discharge efficiency test, safety test,

and high and low temperature performance test. These rigorous procedures ensure compliance with international standards and guarantee

the reliability of every battery unit delivered to consumers.

The first is the capacity test. Capacity is one of the important indicators for measuring the performance of lithium batteries. After fully charging

the lithium battery, it is discharged with a specific current until it reaches the specified cut-off voltage, and the discharged electricity is recorded,

which is the actual capacity of the battery. Moreover, multiple charge-discharge cycle tests will be conducted to observe the capacity attenuation,

so as to evaluate the service life of the battery.

Secondly, there is the charge-discharge efficiency test. Record the input energy during the charging process and measure the output energy

during the discharging process. The ratio of the two is the charge-discharge efficiency. Lithium batteries with high charge-discharge efficiency

can reduce energy loss and improve the usage efficiency.

The rate performance test is also crucial. This test mainly simulates the high-current charging and discharging scenarios in different usage

situations, and detects the changes in voltage and capacity of the battery during high-rate charging and discharging, so as to determine whether

it can work stably under the demand of instant high current. For example, electric vehicles require batteries to have good rate performance when

accelerating.

The safety test is of utmost importance. It includes overcharging and over-discharging tests, simulating the reaction of the battery under

abnormal charging conditions, and observing whether dangerous situations such as fire and explosion will occur. There is also the short-circuit

test, deliberately short-circuiting the positive and negative poles of the battery, monitoring the sudden changes in temperature and voltage of

the battery, and checking whether its safety protection mechanism is effective.

Finally, there is the high and low temperature performance test. Place the lithium battery in high and low temperature environments and test

its charging and discharging performance at different temperatures. Since the performance of lithium batteries is likely to be affected under

extreme temperature conditions, this test can ensure that the battery can work normally in different climatic conditions.

Through these comprehensive and strict performance tests, qualified lithium batteries can enter the market, providing safe and reliable power

support for our daily lives and various devices.

A&S Power's lithium batteries have passed these rigorous performance tests to ensure product quality and safety to meet customers' needs

in different application scenarios, and its battery products have also obtained CE, UL, IEC62133, ROHS and other certifications.
