Customized Needs for Lithium Polymer Battery

As an importer who plans to purchase lithium polymer battery in bulk from China, comprehensive information like compliance with regulations, product

specifications and suppliers reliability proof are needed to inform your potential suppliers.

1.Product Specification

Technical parameters are highly important and put in the top priority when you inquire about lithium polymer battery. Supplier cannot ensure if they can

manufacture this if you can not offer basic requirements like required size, capacity(mAh),Voltage, Peak discharge current and continuous discharge

current, connectors(types and length), cables, cycle life, safety features (e.g., overcharge protection, short circuit protection). Also, supplier usually need

these information to give you an approximate or exact quotation.

2.Compliance and Certification

If you import lithium polymer battery from China to your designated country for sales, you would better inform your suppliers what compliance and

certification you might need to import. It usually need to comply with international standards (UN 38.3, CE, RoHS, UL, IEC). And some others are

common certifications in the US and European markets.

3.Price and Payment Terms

On a regular basic, it is preferable to discuss the unit price with suppliers, including bulk discounts, to ensure cost efficiency for large orders. Getting

to know minimum order quantity (MOQ) from suppliers ahead of time can effectively help you make decision. You are also required to let supplies know

your accepted payment terms to find mutually beneficial conditions, such as advance payment percentages, the possibility of a letter of credit for

security, or net terms that allow for deferred payments, ensuring cash flow management while securing a reliable supply chain.

4.Shipping and Delivery

After reaching a preliminary agreement on the above issues, you can purchase samples for technical testing. Suppliers will clearly inform you estimated

shipping costs, delivery time and shipping methods and carriers used. You are also need to reach an agreement on Incoterms(FOB, CIF, DDP, etc.) you

prefer to use with suppliers.

5.Customization and Branding

There are also other options for customization(e.g., specific sizes, shapes, branding). Accordingly, suppliers will charge extra fee for customization.

6.Samples and Quality Assurance

If you have special requirements for quality management, you can ask the supplier to provide quality control for the production process and warrenty

and return policy .

7.Manufacturing and Capacity

If there is a requirement for the delivery speed, you can ask the supplier about the monthly output and the lead time for large orders.
