Export Lithium Polymer Battery
Export lithium polymer battery
1. Lithium battery classification Lithium batteries can be divided into lithium cobalt oxide batteries, lithium manganate batteries, and lithium
phosphate batteries according to the positive and negative electrode materials; according to the internal structure principle, they can be
divided into lithium metal batteries and lithium ion batteries; according to the shell material, they can be divided into for:
(1) Steel shell charging battery
(2) Aluminum shell rechargeable battery
(3) Lithium polymer battery
2. What is a lithium polymer battery? Lithium polymer batteries generally refer to lithium polymer batteries, also known as polymer lithium
batteries, which have the characteristics of high energy, miniaturization and lightweight. A general battery has three main components:
positive electrode, negative electrode and electrolyte. Lithium polymer battery refers to a battery system in which at least one of the three
components uses polymer materials. In lithium polymer battery systems, polymer materials are mostly used in the positive electrode and
electrolyte. The positive electrode material uses a conductive polymer or an inorganic compound used in lithium-ion batteries. The negative
electrode often uses lithium metal or Lithium-carbon interlayer compound, the electrolyte uses solid polymer electrolyte or organic electrolyte.
Since there is no excess electrolyte in lithium polymer, it is more reliable and stable.
3. Main scope of use Lithium polymer batteries ensure the safety and cycle performance of lithium secondary batteries, and have the
advantages of high specific energy, wide operating temperature range, stable operating voltage, and long storage life. They are known
as "the most powerful batteries". "Promising chemical power source" is widely used in smartphones, laptops, new energy vehicles and
other products. For example, all Apple products use lithium polymer batteries. In addition, Japanese car companies such as Toyota and
Nissan are also vigorously developing lithium polymer batteries to match new energy vehicles such as Prius and LEAF. These new
high-energy batteries will also be used in Used in future new products of Mac-Book and MacBookPro.
4. Storage conditions: The state of charge is preferably between 40-60%, the temperature is between 15-25℃, and the relative humidity is
between 45-85%RH.
5. Lithium polymer batteries belong to the 9 categories of dangerous goods stipulated by the United Nations and are dangerous goods.
Article 29 of the "Regulations on the Implementation of the Import and Export Commodity Inspection Law of the People's Republic of
China" stipulates: "Manufacturers of packaging containers for exporting dangerous goods shall apply to the entry-exit inspection and
quarantine agency for performance appraisal of the packaging container. Packaging containers have been approved by the entry-exit
inspection and quarantine agency. Only those that have passed the appraisal and obtained the performance appraisal certificate can
be used to package dangerous goods. Production enterprises that export dangerous goods shall apply to the entry-exit inspection
and quarantine agency for the use appraisal of dangerous goods packaging containers, and use packaging that has not been
appraised or has failed to pass the appraisal. Dangerous goods in containers are not allowed to be exported.
"Therefore, exporting lithium polymer batteries must first provide the "Performance Inspection Result Sheet for Entry and Exit Goods
Transport Packaging" (hereinafter referred to as the "Performance Inspection Result Sheet") requested by the packaging manufacturer
from the customs at the place of origin. The lithium polymer battery manufacturer then maintains "Performance Inspection Result Sheet"
applies to the customs of the place of origin for the use appraisal of dangerous goods packaging containers, and handles the "Outbound
Dangerous Goods Transport Packaging Use Appraisal Result Sheet".
6. What will happen if the packaging fails to pass the inspection? If the export lithium polymer battery packaging fails to pass the inspection,
a "Notice of Unqualified Outbound Goods" will be issued and export will not be allowed; if it can be reworked and rectified and passed the
re-inspection, an "Exit Notice" will be issued. Dangerous Goods Transport Packaging Usage Supervision Result Sheet".
